A well ventilated and spacious library with a vast & varied collection of over 3000 books of Indian and Foreign authors in the field of Nursing, Fundamental of Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing, OBG. & Gynaecology Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, Medicine, Biochemistry, Microbiology, allied subjects and other related fields.
For updated knowledge with latest researches in the field of health we provide free internet browsing to all students in library. The library is also fully equipped with latest national & international journals (20), thesis books, articles.
Anatomy lab is fully equipped with adequate charts, cadavers, human torso, specimens, slides, and visual aids, CDs to teach clinical and experimental anatomy as applicable to the clinical practice.
The laboratory is fully equipped to teach and practice the nursing procedures to the students. There are cots of linen, lockers, stretcher, Wheel chair, Cupboards etc. Surgical instruments and other instruments needed for performing daily care procedures on the patients are available. The lab is equipped with male and female Manikin, Baby dummy, CPR Kit, articles and instruments for various nursing procedures. The lab is spacious, well ventilated and continuous water facility is available There is provision of white board and sitting arrangement of 50 students in Lab.
Nutrition lab is a set up of fully equipped and furnished kitchen with all modem crockery items, utensils and electronic equipments. Under the guidance of qualified teachers, the students are taught to prepare therapeutic diets for normal individuals, pregnant women and also for those affected with various disorders. The laboratory is equipped with facilities for cooling, storage, preservation of food and demonstration of preparing diet based on the nutritional needs of the people. Charts and flex boards suggesting the menu plan and calorie requirements are exhibited.
There are baby dummies CPR Kit, articles and instruments for various nursing procedures. There is stretcher; play & Play Material according to growth and development of the child, there are incubator, and warmer models etc for pediatric teaching. There is Simulation dummy for normal delivery conduction and all equipments necessary and used in Midwifery in this lab.
Students are taught the skills in providing care to the people, at their setup in Urban and Rural areas. Students are trained to use bag technique and are well trained to provide health care in the community.
Multipurpose hall is utilized for hosting function of college education conferences/workshops, CNES examinations etc. In hall have a proper stage with green room facility. The hall is well ventilated with proper lighting facilities available. The proper arrangements of place for the use of all kind of basic and advance audiovisual aids are available in hall.
Hostel is in the same campus. There is a facility of recreation room. There is a facility of sick room and Reading room. Our college has separate computer laboratory with 30 sets of computer for learning and implementing computer skills in documentation which is one of the most important functions of a nurse. It is taught by a separate full time faculty.
Clinical facilities is provided at Ambar Hospital, Dhrol (Parent Hospital) for the practical training of fundamentals of nursing and all other specialties.
Ambar Hospital is a multi speciality hospital, located 2 km from the college campus, 100 bed occupancy located in the Dhrol city. College students are assigned to the hospital for observing and practicing Nursing Arts under continues supervision of Nursing faculties.
